Oodles of Noodles

As a student, I am always looking for good cheap food. Chinatown is a mecca for some of the cheapest most delicious eats in the city. You can't get a better deal than a steaming bowl of tasty hand pulled noodle soup with a meat of your choice for $5. Unlike most Chinatown restaurants, the service at Tasty Hand-Pulled Noodle is actually slow since they hand pull the noodles to order. If you get the right seat, you can look straight into the kitchen and watch them prepare your noodles. I had a far table, but of course I had no shame getting up to poke my nose (and camera) into the kitchen.

I ordered my noodles with roast duck and extra egg (for a whopping extra $0.50!) The soup was flavorful mostly due to the fattiness of the duck and the extra soy sauce/ spicy chili oil I dumped in. The noodles were tasty but nothing to write home about. I would definitely go back to eat here but I can't really say it was the best bowl of noodle soup that I have had (that ceases to exist thus far.)
