Seoul Garden and Mandoo Bar

I've made it a point to try the soondubu (spicy tofu soup) at every place I can in K-Town. On my list to try was Seoul Garden. So before the John Legend concert, Joy and I grabbed dinner there since we were in the neighborhood. As usual, we over ordered.

I loved the selection of ban chan. They had my favorite--fish cakes!

Spicy rice sticks and fish cakes. Not sure why this appetizer is so enormous. I love this stuff.

Beef soondubu. It was the right amount of spicy and very flavorful. I don't know if I would say it's my favorite place in K-Town though. I like the soondubu at Chungmoro a lot too.

The following week, I had lunch with Erika at Mandoo Bar. For some reason I've never noticed it before but Erika informed me it's been open for awhile.

Kimchi mandoo. These were deliciously spicy. Don't they look like little soldiers?? So cute!

These are lightly pan fried pork mandoo. I liked the crispy skin. There were four, but I was too eager to eat them and forgot to take a picture.

We also ordered bibimbap, but again, I started eating and forgot about pictures. Oops.
