Spring's Bounty

One of my favorite activities on weekends is visiting the green markets and produce vendors in the city. Something about being surrounded by beautiful, vibrant produce makes me incredibly happy. I'm honestly like a kid in a candy store.  Here are some beautiful pictures I captured this weekend.

Union Square Greenmarket

I absolutely love the Union Square Greenmarket in the fall. The produce is still vibrant and colorful with more than just apples and root vegetables. I wandered through there on my day off yesterday and felt like a kid in a candy store.

So beautiful! I ended up only buying a small basket of sun cherry tomatoes but I definitely wanted everything. It's hard to remember that I need to only shop for 1 and not for 5 (how can you resist 5 ears of corn for $2?!) I really have to reign it in when I'm there so I don't waste.
