Little Owl

I finally had dinner at Little Owl recently and it wasn't all that I expected it to be. I thought it was good, but not great.

Broccoli soup with gruyere crouton. I've never seen broccoli soup so green. It was beautiful. This picture doesn't do it justice. It was good, but I thought it needed salt.

Gravy meatball sliders. These were absolutely amazing. I loved them.

Cod with butternut squash risottto. The cod was seasoned and cooked perfectly but I was not a fan of the risotto. The squash was undercooked and the risotto needed salt.

This was the pork chop with parmesean butter beans and wild dandelions. The pork was pretty good, just a tad overcooked.

This is the pear crisp with mascarpone ice cream. I had no more room but somehow made room for this delicious dessert.

Overall, I liked Little Owl and would definitely go back. The food was good and atmosphere was cute. The service, surprisingly wasn't that great.
