Legendary Chinese in Chelsea

I attended a birthday dinner at Legend tonight and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I was pretty skeptical of a Sichuan place smack dab in the heart of Chelsea but apparently you can't always judge a restaurant by its location. Legend was full of Asian people--always a good sign and the workers hardly spoke English--also a good sign. We ordered plates and plates of food and ate until everyone was sweating from the spice. The food came out hot and quick and in large family style portions. Even with rounds of beer, the bill came out to be under $40 a person. Amazing. No pictures tonight but I would definitely go back here just to take some!

If you do go, try the braised duck, fish soup and ginger noodles! Hands down, the best dishes we had.
