Roast Duck Dinner

Last week, I had the pleasure of enjoying the large format duck dinner at Momofuku Ssam Bar. I didn't really know what the dinner included but was blown away by the deliciousness of it all. For $140 (up to 6 people), we got a whole duck, chive pancakes, white rice, watercress salad, lettuce for wraps and various sauces and garnishes. It was amazing. The duck is meant to be eaten bo ssam style, using the lettuce or chive pancakes as wraps.

while waiting for a person in our group to arrive, the waitress informed us the quality of the duck was being compromised the longer waited. pretty hilarious but the duck came out perfect!

the ginger shallot sauce was devine (far right)

potatoes were so so

some sort of sauteed greens mess. not a fan
The star of this meal was the duck, as it should be. I recommend checking out this dinner with less than 6 people so everyone gets a little more!
