Tia Pol

Now that my time in NYC is so limited, I've really started to focus on my food bucket list. With so many choices, I try to choose carefully when eating out. Every meal counts! On Labor Day, I finally made it to Tia Pol, a tapas place in Chelsea. I've heard raving reviews about it but was always deterred by the no reservations policy and also the location (super duper west.) I'm so glad I got to eat there. I love tapas and this made my taste buds sing with joy.

octopus salad with fingerling potatoes

tuna salad with anchovies

ham croquette.....absolutely melted in my mouth!

tomato bread with olive tapenade, fave bean puree and peppers

cheese plate

fried custard with dried cherries

I loved the ambiance, the service and the food. Hopefully, I can squeeze in another visit to try more tapas!
