Sarabeth's West

Saturday was an absolutely beautiful day. I slept in and woke to the sun shining and birds chirping...okay so there were no birds...but that was how great the weather was. It was just one of those perfect spring days in NYC. Brunch outside was a must...unfortunately everyone had that idea. I was going to be in the UWS for the afternoon so decided to try a place in the neighborhood. I didn't want to wait for half an hour at Nice Matin for a table outside, so I crossed the street to the shade and got a table inside at Sarabeth's almost immediately. Boy was I not disappointed. Brunch was fantastic.

Fat and fluffy french toast with strawberries and bananas

Frittata with veggies, bacon and gruyere. The english muffin is baked in house and the the jam is homemade! So yummy.

The Four Flowers mimosa is also wonderful....like a fruit smoothie with champagne! I love that they give you a small bottle of champagne and tiny carafe of the juice to refill your own glass. Super cute.
